 Budi Boné(Boody Boné), "The Singing Drum" is an experienced singer and percussionist. Music for him is a universal language which is used to communicate without limitation. He provides wonderful musical improvisation which gives the audience a unique impression of a really creative entertainer.
Growing up with influences from church choir he developed his singing and musical talent. This also helped him to learn to sing naturally in harmony. Budi became a professional singer in 1990. Since then, he has sung with a range of different bands before he formed a band called Macumba. Macumba presented vocal harmonies and a special mix of percussion. As the leader of the band, Budi took responsibility to organize the band to play for regular gigs as well as International events in many restaurants, pubs and exclusive Hotels in Bali. He worked as part of a team with colleagues to achieve top results leading to success and wide a knowledgement in Bali. In April 2005, Budi and his family moved to Terrigal, NSW. He formed a duo named Kuta Groove Duo in Central Coast Australia in November 2005. Their innovative music evokes vibrant passion and dynamic rhythms of soulful music.
